I am a doctoral researcher and lecturer at The University of Colorado, Denver. I study emotions in policy processes and specialize in gender identity policies. I am a co-coordinator with the Center for Policy and Democracy as well as the Conference on Policy Process Research. I teach policy process courses, and I have published in Policy Studies Journal, Emotions and Society, Review of Policy Research, Review of Public Personnel Administration, and Journal of Public Affairs Education.
